A Christmas winter wonderland

With so many ways to enjoy festive fun, you can be sure there will be extra special ways we’re bringing the magic of Christmas to Surrey Quays this year.

Santa Claus is coming to town! Join us for Santa Saturdays throughout December, where Santa and his elf Twinkle will be roaming around the centre singing tunes and listening to your Christmas wishes. Or meet our fun festive friends – The Magic Elves and Christmas Flower Girls – who will be spreading Christmas cheer, causing mischief and giving a warm welcome to visitors throughout November and December. And if you’re shopping with us on Sunday 19th December, look out for our special North Pole Porters who will be on hand to help carry your Christmas shopping.

Shoppers can also join us for a jolly singalong, with a Brass Band performing on Saturday 20th November and DJ Dazzle playing your favourite Christmas hits on Saturday 27th November. See the Christmas welcome page for full details.

Festive cinema trip

With nine screens of film magic, sit back, relax and enjoy the latest releases on the big screen at Odeon this Christmas.

Enjoy replays of Christmas classics, and catch some new releases including Ghostbusters: Afterlife in November and Don’t Look Up starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Spider-Man: No Way Home in December.

And with a huge range of snacks, soft drinks, and Ben & Jerry’s ice cream, you won’t struggle to find a tasty treat or two for your festive day of fun.

Whether you’re getting together with friends for some festive fun or looking for some Christmas family activities, Surrey Quays has all you need for a great day out with some friendly competition!

Put your bowling into practice with a trip to Hollywood Bowl, and work in teams or as individuals to come up trumps this Christmas. With 28 lanes, a private VIP area, Hollywood diner, buzzing bar and amusements area, you’re guaranteed hours of Christmas family fun or a great mates date.

Support our Christmas charities

We’re supporting the amazing work of our four partner charities, Surrey Docks Farm, Southwark Young Carers, Mayor of Southwark's Common Goods Trust, and Time & Talents this Christmas.

Surrey Docks Farm delivers a range of educational community projects and workshops for children, and young people and adults with learning disabilities among others. Participants take part in activities including animal care, food growing, healthy eating, rural crafts, and environmental projects, encouraging them to spend as much time as possible getting active outdoors.

Southwark Young Carers supports over 200 young carers across the community who have caring responsibilities for a family member with a long-term illness, disability, mental health or substance misuse issue. Its service includes 1:1 support, workshops, activities, newsletters and in-school support.

The Mayor of Southwark’s Common Good Trust is a local charity that helps people access items to ensure they can live in dignity, including household goods, school uniforms and baby essentials. While Time & Talents works to connect the community to reduce loneliness and build friendships.

Help us to help these very special organisations by making contactless donations of £3, £5 or £10 at our Giving Box – located outside the Poundland store.
